So I caught this video of Anthony Fauci doing a farewell interview on ABC’s Good Morning America recently and it infuriated me. If you still have any doubts as to the sycophantic relationship the mainstream media has with Fauci and his ilk just watch the interview (and read the accompanying article here https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/news/story/dr-fauci-prepares-exit-reflects-legacy-covid-decisions-91553536 I dare you.
Anyway, a couple things stood out within this feel good segment.
Fauci: “This idea that this virus doesn’t effect children is not so. It does. We’ve lost close to 1,500 kids so far.” This is his justification for all the nonsense – the school closures and the mask mandates (down to two-year-olds) placed on our children. Now let me say upfront for any snowflakes out there who cannot have an adult conversation and will accuse me of being a cold-hearted kid-hater, that is obviously not the case. I like a good kid-sniffin’ as much as the next guy. But we must be both honest and rational in our thinking; rare commodities indeed these days.
The CDC currently lists 1,310 kids (age 0-17) in the column “All Deaths involving COVID-19”. It then lists 95,373 “Deaths from All Causes” for this age group. That means that COVID deaths account for about 1.4% of ALL child deaths during this pandemic. Has Anthony Fauci (or anyone else) ever mentioned anything anywhere about the other 98.6% of childhood deaths? There are about 75 million kids in this age bracket in America. 1,310 deaths gives your kid a risk of dying from COVID (at absolute worst) of around 0.002% or two one-thousandths of one percent. If you look at kids ages 5-18 (school aged kids) the CDC lists a total of 938 deaths out of about 56,000,000 kids. Does that risk justify the damage we’ve done to tens of millions of kids? The social, psychological, physical, educational damage we’ve done which for many of these children will negatively affect the rest of their lives? Is a risk of 0.002% a valid justification for what we did? If you think it is I can give you causes of deaths for kids that would demand action that we never consider taking. According to the latest data I could find published at the end of 2018, motor vehicle deaths were the number one cause of death for kids “…comprising about 20% of all deaths among children in 2016. The chief reason for the crashes was cell phone use by drivers and pedestrians” Gun deaths may in fact now be number one but that makes car deaths more than TEN TIMES greater than COVID deaths. Are we banning cars? Or cell phones? Some 3,500 -4,000 people drown in the US every year, and drowning is the second leading cause of death for kids between 1 and 14 (#1 in kids 1-4). By the idiotic logic of Fauci, Inc. every pool in America should be filled in. But they ain’t. Fauci himself has a lovely swimming pool where he posed for a picture for InStyle magazine. You know, in between being “the science”. There are literally dozens of things more dangerous to kids than COVID yet Fauci justifies shutting down schools (not him of course, someone else did that) for an at-worst risk of 0.002%. Hey remember when we had to shut schools so Junior wouldn’t get sick and kill grandma? Remember when that was a thing? Good times.
And in case you’re not aware, we could have easily looked to Sweden or even Florida way back in 2020 and seen there was no signal for any danger to kids (or teachers) by being in school; even without masks. But under the stupid, ignorant, dishonest, politically-motivated guidance of Anthony Fauci, we did what we did. Fauci feigns some contrition about some decisions but he “doesn’t want to use the word ‘mistake’” because it will get “taken out of the context that you’re asking me the question on” So that’s good English, but he won’t admit the mistake because…haters gonna hate? Profiles in Courage!
By the way, as I have told you before, the death count is defined as “Deaths with confirmed or presumed COVID-19” so we can’t say for sure that all these 1,310 kids actually had COVID. And if you use the column labeled “Deaths involving COVID-19 and Pneumonia” which one would expect to be a more accurate determinant of death really due to COVID (at least the predominance of deaths), the CDC list 330 deaths. That’s a risk of 0.0004% or four ten-thousandths of one percent. Are these the numbers Anthony Fauci is using for shutting down schools because “This idea that this virus doesn’t effect children is not so”? Does anyone really believe he didn’t want the schools shut down? Does anybody really believe that if Anthony Fauci had stood up and said we should follow Sweden, or the “death-cult” leader in Florida, or heed the advice of the “fringe epidemiologists” who penned the Great Barrington Declaration, and open schools that schools wouldn’t have been open? Even the teacher’s unions couldn’t fight the Mighty Fauci.
But wait, Tony tells us “…they always come back and say ‘Fauci was responsible for closing schools’…I had NOTHING TO DO…I mean let’s get down to the facts.” So see, Fauci actually didn’t close your kid’s school. But then of course you can find half a dozen videos in your sleep where Fauci “advocates” for closing schools. He is technically correct of course; he does not have the authority or wield the mechanism to close schools. And as I have told you many times before, Fauci is a consummate politician, which is to say a gutless, lying sac of crap (LSoC) coward who never actually SAYS anything. He always obfuscates and nibbles around the edges. Go ahead and watch some video, any video of Anthony Fauci saying anything of any definitive nature. He always gives himself an out.
The only exception I can find is when he claimed he never shut down the country: “First of all, I didn’t recommend locking anything down, you’re asking me questions, you’re talking about — the CDC’s the public agency that uses their epidemiologists and their science-based approach to make recommendations,” Again he is technically correct, it’s the CDC and their “science-based approach” that made that recommendation. Fauci, again as with schools, had nothing to do with it. Except for “When it became clear that we had community spread in the country … I recommended to the president that we shut the country down.” Yeah, except for that. And by the way, last I checked, schools were part of "the country".
Anthony Fauci is a small man in every sense of the word. But like a cockroach, he is a survivor. You don’t spend more than 50 years in Washington without learning a few tricks. As such, I have no confidence that he will in any way be held responsible for his substantial part in the destruction of the very fabric of our society over these last several years. And as long as the mainstream media continues to genuflect at his feet, no justice will ever be served. But since Fauci likes forcing people to do things maybe we could force all Americans to read “The Real Anthony Fauci” by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Let the country see just how little and ugly this guy really is. Good riddance to bad baggage, he can't get out fast enough.
